We are Alan, Paulene, Holly and Lucy who moved to Spain in the summer of 2007 to enjoy a better quality of life. A life where we are able to spend some time together and enjoy each other's company. A life filled with sunshine, tasty and healthy food, real spainish culture including tapas and friends, both spanish and english.
We moved from Berkshire in the south east of England. Life was expensive, jobs were pressurised and travel by car was almost impossible, so we decided to move here to Baza in Andalucia. We had holidayed in the region several times and had visited Baza and the surrounding areas. We felt that this was the place for us as it is living Spain, not a natural holiday area, although there is much to visit and many places within easy driving distance. Of particular merit are the many lakes, especially lake Negratin which features many restaurants and water based activities, including swimming and pedalos.
Happily for us, we found our ideal property, a family home for us and a cave house we could offer for rent. Situated in an excellent location in Baza, ideal for access to the mountains, the beach and the beautiful natural areas of which there are many, in particular the Sierra de Baza with stunning scenery and a variety of wildlift.
